Behind The Ear (BTE) hearing aid:

It is considerably smaller than body aids. BTEs are also two-piece hearing aids. The microphone and electronics are mounted in the characteristic banana-shaped case, or in some artistic variations of it.This type is appropriate for people of all ages and those with almost any type of hearing loss.

Mini BTE Hearing aid:

Mini Behind the Ear (BTE) hearing aids are slightly smaller yet ideal for wearers with limited dexterity and moderate to severe hearing loss. Mini BTEs allow comfort, reduce feedback and address cosmetic concerns for many users.

Receiver-in-the-ear canal (RIC):

The receiver is located within the ear canal rather than in the BTE case, and an electrical cable rather than an acoustic tube runs from the electronics to the ear canal.It provides a comfortable fit and ease of use. The RIC style is popular with first time wearers with mild to severe sloping hearing loss.

In-the-ear hearing aids:

All the components are housed within the ear fitting itself,most commonly provided with an individual shell made from an ear impression. ITEs can be standard or individual prescription hearing aids.It is helpful for people with mild to severe hearing loss.

Completely-in-the-canal hearing aid:

The only thing visible to the eye is normally the small handle, similar to a nylon fishing line with a small knob on the end,battery drawer and face plate.

Invisible in canal hearing aids:

  • HEARING AID FITTING & PROGRAMMING
    In advance of your hearing aid fitting appointment, your audiologist will select new hearing aids which are selected at the time of trial and program them using special software.Then checking the volume, balances the hearing aid amplification, allowing you to hear soft sounds and loud sounds comfortably.
  • HEARING AID FINE-TUNING & REPROGRAMMING
    If there are any changes in hearing aid sound effects ,which needs to be fine tuned or reprogrammed by an audiologist to make sure you’re comfortable. Hearing can change over time so it’s important that we have the most accurate and up to date measurement of your hearing, this will help the audiologist in any adjustments required to ensure you are getting the most out of your purchase.
  • HEARING AID TROUBLESHOOTING
    If your hearing aid is not working properly, it may be time to schedule an appointment with the audiologist and the problem might be solve by doing troubleshooting.If your hearing aid appears to be functioning, the audiologist will check to make sure you do not have a blockage in your ear canal. If your ears are clear, then the audiologist may check your hearing to determine if there has been a change.
  • HEARING AID REPAIR AND SERVICES
    Hearing aids can experience problems and fail, you need to get it repaired as quickly as possible. If you’ve exhausted all troubleshooting and maintenance steps and your device is still malfunctioning, schedule a visit to have your audiologist check for hearing aid repairs. In the event your hearing aid has a larger issue, like a disturbance in the internal wiring or electrical components, your audiologist may have to send your device to the manufacturer to complete repairs.If your hearing aid is still under warranty, you can usually get it fixed for free by an approved repair service. However, if it has expired, you will need to pay.
  • HEARING AID BATTERY DISPENSING
    Hearing aid batteries come in sizes are 10, 13, 312 and 675. To identify the size, most manufacturers use an industry standard color code on their zinc air tabs and packaging.
